The stops for wine tasting and local cuisine specialties will be pleasant interruptions of the cultural route, offering you a precious opportunity to approach the rich culinary tradition of Verona.

Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere offered by an exclusive private tour you can devote yourself only to the pleasure of discovery, travelling through sensational landscapes with private transfers.

The flexibility of an exclusive service, entirely dedicated to you and your specific needs, will allow you to experience this tour in Verona in complete freedom: in addition to ‘must-see’ stops, in fact, you can choose whether to use your free time in total autonomy or plan further visits to your itinerary.

The departure is scheduled at 8.30, where you will meet your private driver who will take you to the first stage of our tour: Verona. The private excursion includes a first stop at Castel San Pietro which will offer you a breathtaking view of the city of Verona.

After this little moment of relaxation, your visit to Verona will begin: a walk in the historical centre will give you a journey through time almost two thousand years long! The stop in Veroba is free so you can choose which places to include in your itinerary, such as the Arena and Juliet’s house, without forgetting to take time to enjoy the most authentic Veronese atmosphere that you can breathe among the alleys and squares of the historic centre.

You can decide to admire architectural masterpieces such as the Duoml and the churches of Santa Anastasia and San Zeno Maggiore, but also take advantage of a short visit to the Giusti Garden, considered among the most beautiful in Italy.
After the stop in Verona, the itinerary will proceed to the second stage: the Valpolicella area.
Located among the sunny hills north-west of Verona, this wine region is one of the major food and wine destinations in Veneto.

You will have the opportunity to taste traditional local dishes at a typical restaurant in the area (such as tortelli all’Amarone, potato gnocchi, pork with apples, but also local cheeses and homemade desserts and much more), as well as to include in the itinerary some of the most famous wineries in the area: here you can learn about winemaking techniques and taste the results directly on site.

Also in this case, you can decide whether to follow our advice – have lunch at the famous ‘Trattoria alla Ruota’ and visit a winery between the Quintarelli Farm, the Allegrini Winery and the Alighieri estate – or organize the stops on your own: just let us know when you make your reservation and we will do our best to organize everything in the best way!

After Valpolicella, the visit will resume at Villa Giona near San Pietro in Cairano. This is a splendid example of a Venetian villa dating back to the 15th century, perched on the eastern slopes of the Castelrotto hill.

You will have the opportunity to visit the villa and its splendid garden, precious testimonies of the rural tradition of this timeless territory.

The excursion will then proceed towards the Lake Garda through a route full of unexpected views.
Completely relaxed and satisfied by the splendid view, you will arrive in Sirmione, where you will visit the town centre among charming alleys that house ancient churches and picturesque local craft shops.

The historic centre of Sirmione, built around the Scaliger castle with its characteristic swallow-tailed battlements, boasts a unique position compared to all the other towns on Lake Garda, offering you an incomparable panorama.

Before returning you will also be offered the opportunity to visit Villa Feltrinelli in Salò, where you can take a coffee break before returning, scheduled around 17.30..
